Grateful to have been part of a roundtable hosted by the British High Commission in Brunei, held during the visit of Catherine West MP, the UK’s Minister for the Indo-Pacific.

Minister West has a background in social work and community leadership, and has long championed inclusive policy and international engagement. Her visit to Brunei included meetings with government officials, civil society, and community leaders, with a strong focus on the role of women and girls.

The roundtable brought together a small group of Bruneian women leaders to exchange perspectives on leadership, innovation, and inclusion. It was a thoughtful conversation with Puan Shikin from KKBS, Hafizah, Aimi Ramlee, Khairunnisa Ashari, and Kem from Kunyit 7 Lodge.
