Dr Noor Affizan
Dr Noor Affizan Rahman is a board-certified Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Brunei Eye Centre, RIPAS Hospital, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (UK). She leads the Ministry of Health’s Climate, Health and Sustainability Taskforce, supporting national efforts to strengthen climate resilience and sustainability in healthcare, and holds an MSc in Global Health Policy from the University of Edinburgh.
An Atlantic Fellow with the Equity Initiative, she is part of a regional and global community working across disciplines to advance health equity, and has represented Brunei at international platforms including COP28 and the WHO Alliance for Transformative Action on Climate and Health. She currently serves as President of the Brunei Ophthalmology Society, where she contributes to advancing ophthalmic practice, professional collaboration and eye health education.
