Afternoon Tea Reception for Medical and Dental Scholars 2025
Afternoon Tea Reception for Medical and Dental Scholars 2025
The British High Commission hosted an Afternoon Tea Reception in July to celebrate students awarded the Government Scholarship Abroad in medicine and dentistry. Held at the Deputy High Commissioner’s Residence, the event brought together scholarship recipients preparing to begin their studies in the United Kingdom through the University of Brunei Darussalam’s twinning programme with partner institutions.
The reception was hosted by Deputy British High Commissioner Mrs Catherine Pochkhanavala-Cleeve, and attended by invited guests including officers from the Ministry of Education, as well as medical professionals from the Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Health.
It was also a personal highlight to meet several of the dental students my husband teaches at UBD, and to hear their reflections as they prepare for the next stage of their journey.
Thank you to the British High Commission for the warm hospitality and continued support for Bruneian students pursuing opportunities abroad.
