Young Ophthalmologists Meeting in Singapore
It’s always a pleasure to be back in Singapore. This time, for the 35th Singapore-Malaysia Joint Meeting in Ophthalmology hosted by the Singapore Society of Ophthalmology.
The meeting is a chance for young ophthalmologists from around the world to share opportunities for training and collaboration. There was also a dedicated symposium and case presentation session on debates focusing on the controversies and innovations in Ophthalmology.
As well as introducing Brunei’s newly formed Brunei Ophthalmology Society (BOS) alongside Dr Helena, we met up with Dr Fitri, one of our Bruneian residents training at the Singapore National Eye Centre. I also caught up with old friends, ex-colleagues and mentors and met new faces, including from Morocco, South Africa and Malaysia.
