I had the pleasure of being a guest speaker at Sekolah Arab Kuala Beliat, where I spoke with students about the importance of reading for their World Book Day celebration. During my talk, I shared my personal passion for reading and how it has impacted my life. Reading has not only expanded my knowledge and imagination but has also been a source of comfort during challenging times.

Before parting ways with the students, I emphasized that reading can contribute to the growth of our empathy and understanding, as it exposes us to diverse cultures, experiences, and perspectives. I also made sure to remind them that it’s never too early or too late to start reading and enjoying the rewards of this lifelong pursuit.
