Choosing Medicine as a Career – Panel Discussion

It’s always a privilege to return to my old school and college, Maktab Sains. This time to help 6th form students gain greater insight on choosing medicine or dentistry as a profession.

Alongside several UBD medical and dental undergraduates, we held a panel discussion with questions and answers about our experiences. I was very impressed by the range and thoughtfulness of the responses and the candour of the panel members was deeply appreciated by the students.

One of the main messages was that purpose and the right intention are crucial to persevering through the difficult challenges ahead.
