Atlantic Fellows 2022 Annual Convening in Phuket

So excited to become an Atlantic Fellow for health equity, having completed my fellowship year with the Equity Initiative. Earlier this month we had our annual in-person convening of around 300 Atlantic Fellows from around the world. As well as catching up with my 2021 cohort, I was able to connect with amazing fellows from the fields of brain health, social, economic and racial equity.

The global community of Atlantic Fellows exists to tackle the persistent inequities across the globe through collective action and leadership to achieve systems change. Once Fellows graduate from one of the seven global programs, the UK based Atlantic Institute provides them with the networks and resources to connect, learn and act to address the underlying systemic causes of inequity – locally and globally. This helps them to connect with each other, beyond individual programs, so that they might collaborate across disciplines and distances to tackle inequities.
